Research on ADS-B geometric height information for height keeping performance surveillance

摘要

With the increase of the flight flow in the RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum) airspace, in order to ensure flight safety, it is necessary to provide high-precision surveillance data of aircraft height timely and accurately to control sectors, to help analyze height keeping performance of aircrafts. In this paper, we discuss the method of using ADS-B geometric height for height surveillance based on ICAO's (International Civil Aviation Organization) proposal. Two data link (UAT/I090ES) models are analyzed in this paper. It is using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to verify the feasibility of ADS-B geometric height for height keeping surveillance. A nd it is sure that ADS-B data precision meets the requirement of height keeping performance surveillance.
