Progress in the study of mechanical response properties of multi-functional energetic structural materials

摘要

The multi-functional energetic structural material is a new type of energetic composite material, which can sustain the external load as the structure material and generate a chemical reaction to release energy under a certain condition. The unique multi-functional composite properties make it an excellent candidate for new energetic materials for national defense industry and civil use. Based on the investigation background and progress of multi-functional structure materials, the present paper focuses on the advances in the research on the mechanical response properties of several typical materials, such as PTFE/Al/ W, Al+Fe2O3+epoxy, Ni+Al+epoxy, etc. The main experimental methods and techniques were summarized, and the research achievements of the mechanical properties, deformation mechanism and impact initiated reaction under quasi static and dynamic loading were interpreted. At the end, some research proposals were made.
