abstract = "There were a lot of explosion accidents related to butadiene peroxide in petro-chemical industry. Since the explosion mechanism of butadiene peroxide is so complicated, and the peroxide is so unstable and dangerous a material, the experimental design to test its explosion characteristics is hard to deal with under current laboratory conditions. The present paper discusses the mechanism of butadiene peroxide explosion and draw a conclusion that the self-polymerizing reaction of butadiene produces a lot of heat, and the heat accumulation is the reason for the explosion.",
