摘要

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been regarded as a promising technology for next-generation wireless networks. Most of the existing NOMA schemes are designed with the assumption of infinite blocklength (IBL), which may lead to suboptimal performance in practice. This paper investigates the reliability-oriented downlink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)-NOMA design with finite blocklength (FBL) transmission. Specifically, we formulate the resource allocation problem to minimize the average block error rate (BLER) of FBL-MIMO-NOMA systems. We obtain the globally optimal solutions to the problem by proposing an efficient power, rate, and blocklength allocation scheme. The superiority of our proposed design is demonstrated via simulation results.
