摘要
The numerical simulation was developed to investigate the reactive flow characteristics for hydrogen supersonic combustion with recessed cavity. It is noted that the hot recirculation zone full of radicals in cavity is the paramount mechanism for stable flame holding. It shows that the cavity flame-holders can provide flame stabilization and mixing enhancement in supersonic combustors and the cavity-based combustor shows better performance in mixing and combustion compared with the no-cavity case.
