摘要
A numerical study of ogive-nose projectiles oblique penetrating double-layered spaced 921A steel targets was conducted by LS-DYNA and the influence of initial velocity and initial oblique angle on the dynamic response of projectiles was analyzed. The results indicate that the projectile suffers asymmetric load during the penetration process which leads to the asymmetric structure deformation and deflection of trajectory. Space between the two targets could aggravate the rotation of projectiles. Increase of initial velocity will make the arc segment away from the target breakage, while increase of initial oblique angle will make the the arc segment near to the target damage. The regular pattern of ballistic deflection is rather complex. At the constant initial oblique angle, oblique angle varies significantly at lower initial velocity resulting in poor ballistic stability, while attitude angle changes drastically at higher initial velocity especially when the projectile structure has been destroyed. Under the constant impact velocity, the variation amplitudes of both oblique angle and attitude angle increase with the increase of initial oblique angle which makes the projectile liable to ricochet.
