Numerical simulation of gas-liquid two-phase flow in the scrubber for FGD

摘要

The gas-liquid two-phase flow in the SHG-II-Z scrubber for FGD is simulated using the FLUENT package in this paper. The calculation is based on RNG k-ε turbulence model and stochastic trajectory model; SIMPLEC algorithm is used in the simulation. The results showed that the solid cone spraying pattern has higher dedusting and desulphurization efficiency than the hollow cone spraying pattern. The distribution of the spraying droplet is influenced by its diameter and velocity. When the spraying velocity is faster, the diameter of the droplet that can be completely separated will be larger. The separation efficiency of the droplet is influenced by the gas velocity. The diameter of droplet should be increased when the gas velocity is accelerated.
