摘要

The tungsten projectile penetration into ceramic/metal composite target was simulated by the multi-material Eulerian hydrocode EXPLOSION-2D. To describe the damage features of ceramic, the JH-2 constitutive model and the equation of state obtained by the plate impact experiment were embedded in the EXPLOSION-2D hydrocode. A cumulative damage algorithm in the Eulerian method for brittle materials was proposed on the basis of the Particle-in-cell method. Based on these algorithms, the anti-penetration properties of the ceramic/metal target with different ceramic thickness were simulated, and the damage evolution of ceramic target and the penetration process were studied. The numerical results agree well with the experimental results, which prove the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
