摘要
The main challenge of seismic exploration in foothill environment origins from the complex surface and rugged topography. Seismic data acquired in such areas often suffers from difficulties to acquire data in regular distributed source and receiver locations. To relax the traditional requirement for acquiring data from well sampled regular grids, we studied irregular pattern acquisition design and data reconstruction based on compressive sensing which could help to reconstruct the data at unreachable locations especially for foothill area. In order to demonstrate the feasibility of irregular acquisition for strong topography area, a synthetic example generated from elastic modeling using SEAM foothills model is used to analysis the data reconstruction benefit from irregularly sampled seismic data compare to regularly sampled seismic data. A field data with un-uniform receiver locations is acquired to verify the reconstruction capability. The preliminary results shows the benefit of reconstruction.
