摘要
Based on standard data format, one bi-directional data-flow model conversion method was presented to realize Computer Aided Design-Virtual Reality (CAD-VR) data exchange. Aiming at incomplete expression of assembly information, an assembly model oriented to the entire process of product assembly process design was proposed. Furthermore, the hierarchical data structure based on instance mechanism was proposed. It realized data management for large-scale models, optimization of model data and reduce computer memory effectively. The methods were implemented and validated in the prototype system virtual assembly process planning.
