摘要
In order to analyze the mechanism of the explosion caused by Hydrogen peroxide. The adiabatic stability of hydrogen peroxide is tested by Accelerating Rate Calorimeter (ARC). The measured data are modified by considering of thermal inertia factor of ARC. The results show that the initial exothermic temperature for hydrogen peroxide with 30% concentration is 34.5°C, with the maximum temperature being 246°C and the time to maximum self-healing rate is 100 min. It can be seen that hydrogen peroxide is very easy to explode and the explosion is very powerful. Appropriate prevention measures such as cooling must be taken to avoid the explosion accident occurred again.
