Measurement of solid mass flow rate in the downcomers of a circulating fluidized bed by microwave doppler method

摘要

The distribution of solid mass flow rate in a circulating fluidized bed with multi-cyclone separators was measured by microwave doppler and electrical capacitance tomography (ECT). The microwave doppler system consists of microwave transmitting and receiving antenna, microwave acquisition system and analysis software. The ECT system consists of capacitance sensor and capacitance acquisition system. The solid mass flow rate in a downcomer is calculated based on solid velocity and solid volume fraction measured by microwave doppler and electrical capacitance tomography respectively. The measurement result is compared and validated with conventional measurement method.
