Investigation on crankshaft structure optimization based on integrated simulation

摘要

In this paper, a practical method of structural optimization is presented which makes use of mature FEA platform and software of MDO. The crankshaft of 4 cylinders' engine is taken as an instance. An integrated software system for crankshaft structural dimension optimization is built which based on I-DEAS, VC++ and iSIGHT. And then the whole optimal process is carried out. The parameterized modification of solid model controlled by program, the integrated framework of iSIGHT and NLPQL are discussed.
