Improving the speed of 3D information presentation in a microhabitat

摘要

Construction of an activated three-dimensional (3D) tissue at outside of the living body is desired, and expectations about the micro-manipulation to construct a 3D organization is growing. Although an object is usually observed using an optical microscope in the micro-manipulation, it is difficult to obtain the depth of field information of the object only from the visual information obtained via a microscope, so the micro-manipulation requires hard practice. In order to develop a measurement system for depth of field information aiming at micro-manipulation support, a system that can present 3D information in real time is indispensable. This paper reports an improvement in the speed of 3D information presentation in a microhabitat which would eventually lead to the easy micro-manipulation and construction of 3D cellular organization.
