摘要

The improved performance of an all-optical wavelength converter based on cross-gain modulation (XGM) in semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) at 10Gb/s is experimentally demonstrated. Transmissions of output signal over 80 km G.652 SMF with a DCF compensator or 240 km G.655 SMF with a DCF compensator are realized with the extinction ratio of 8.5dB, and the pattern dependence is eliminated at the same time.
