摘要

The title compound was synthesized by hydrothermal method from the system of NaOH -KI-NH₄VO₃ - H₂O, the crystals are monoclinic with space group C2 and have a unit cell with a =10.568, b=10.082(2), c=5.810(2) Å, β=103.87(2)°, V=601.0(3)Å³, M_r=259.97, F(000)=496, μ=37.38cm^-1, Z=4, D_c= 2. 87 g·cm^-3, D_̊=2.85 g·cm^-3. The structure was solved by heavy atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares method to R= 0. 029, Rw=0. 043. The structure of the metavanadate is characterized by (VO₃^-)_∞ chains formed by vertex sharing VO₄ tetrahedra, and the Na⁺,K⁺ cations are located in the chains.
