摘要
Arc-scanning synthetic aperture radar (ArcSAR) can scan the surrounding area with the 360° field of view, thus has promising applications in geological surveys and disaster relief on unmanned platforms. In this paper, a new mini millimeter-wave (mmWave) multiple input multiple output (MIMO) ArcSAR system is proposed, featured in its lightweight and small size, which can offer a full 360° of multi-baseline horizontal coverage in 10 seconds of acquisition time, allowing the rapid three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction of surrounding targets. Moreover, a fast elevation inversion algorithm based on direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is designed to accelerate the 3-D reconstruction process. The outdoor measurement results of real-world complex scenario are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
