摘要
Current color-printing technologies may use three or more inks, e.g., CMY, CMYK, CMYKLcLm, CMYKB, CMYKRGB. When the number of ink hues exceeds three, there is a usual color-management one-to-many mapping problem. An algorithm was developed for multi-ink printing in which the one-to-many mapping problem was overcome. The algorithm is about dividing the output color space into several subspaces and the mapping relationship between the standard color space and the multi-color output device subspace is one-to-one. The algorithm was tested using digital inkjet printer- Mutoh8000.
