摘要
For the sake of integrating some novel function in existing functional materials, LiNbO 3 -xEr 2 O 3 ceramics were synthesized through a conventional solid-state reaction. As-obtained XRD patterns indicated that pure perovskite structure had been achieved within the designed composition region. Room temperature Raman spectra illustrated that an abnormal Raman spectra was induced by Er 3+ doping. The photoluminescence performances indicated that the relative intensity of up-conversion emission showed a first increasing and then decreasing trend, achieving a maximum value with LiNbO 3 -0.75%Er 2 O 3 ceramics. In addition, the ratio for the emission intensity of red and green band can be manipulated through adjusting the doping level of Er 3+ . A two-photon absorption mechanism has been come up with to elaborate this observed up-conversion emission behavior.
