摘要

Reliable energy management system is very important for ensuring the performance of a range-extended electric vehicle. Models of an engine, a generator, an uncontrollable rectifier and an added DC/DC booster have been proposed for describing the auxiliary power unit (APU). A control algorithm for control the engine target speed has been put forward to increase system efficiency in the hybrid mode. The constant-SOC(state-of-charge) sliding mode control strategy is designed to manage the energy consumption. Through the MATLAB/Simulink simulation, the performance of the proposed strategy has been evaluated. Compared with proportion integral derivative(PID) control strategy and improved thermostat control strategy, the proposed strategy can get the best fuel economy.
