摘要
Electromagnetically induced two-phonon absorption reduction in sodium vapor are investigated based on a four level system with frequencies of two laser fields. Two phonon absorption strength from 3S1/2 to 4D3/2,5/2 was measured by detecting the fluorescence at 568.3 nm using a photomultiplier. To get the two-phonon absorption signal, the frequency of the dye laser was fixed and scanned.
