Effect of TDI on the mechanical property and crosslinking network structure integrity of PET/TDI/N-100 binder system

摘要

The mechanical properties, physical crosslinking degree, crosslinking network structure integrity and tenacity of PET-based binder films were studied by the uniaxial tensile test, infrared spectrum testing and equilibrium swelling methods. It was found that the crosslink density(νe) of PET/TDI/N-100 binder films decreases, the average molecular weight of chain segment between crosslink points(Mc) increases, and the maximum tensile strength and elastic modulus decrease gradually, while the elongation at break increases with the increase in TDI content. The crosslinking network structure integrity of PET/TDI/N-100 binder system is directly proportional to the ratio of hydrogen bonding(H), and is inversely proportional to the mass of N-100(N). When the TDI content(α) is 0.6, the correction factor(D) of shear modulus is the maximum, which suggests that the crosslinking network structure is most complete, and the mechanical property is better.
