摘要
Zn0.9Fe0.1S nanoparticles were synthesized in microemulsion and then annealed in nitrogen atmosphere at different temperatures. The XRD results show that the samples annealed below 300 °C are pure cubic ZnS. Higher annealing temperature introduces the Fe 3O4 phase. The X-ray absorbing fine structure (XAFS) results indicate that annealing induces the Fe ions to change from divalence to trivalence and crystalline quality gradually improves with the increase of annealing temperature. In view of the structural characteristics indicated by XRD and XAFS, the origin of ferromagnetism at low annealing temperature may be attributed to trivalent Fe ions.
