摘要

This paper reports the development of an optimum end-effector with an uneven surface for a two-fingered micro-hand, and the efficiency of cell manipulation with this end-effector. A two-fingered micro-hand system has been developed by our group. The design and dimensions of the end-effector were optimized for micro-scale manipulation. An end-effector with the optimum shape to increase grip force was fabricated. To avoid the adhesion force becoming higher in the micro-scale, the surface of the tip of the end-effector was made uneven. Finally, high accuracy cell manipulation without sliding during handling and without adhesion was performed successfully.
