摘要

The development of a condition monitoring, analysis and diagnosis system for the pumped storage unit at the Guangzhou pumped storage power station in China is described. The characteristics of the pumped storage unit are listed and the basic design principles are outlined. Details are given of the hardware and software, analysis module and diagnosis module.
