摘要

A coaxial floating-sleeve antenna, operating at 2.45 and 5.8 GHz in the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band, is proposed for microwave ablation (MWA). The dual resonance is achieved by two slots etched into the outer conductor. The antenna is modeled and tested on the High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) with a tissue environment. The results of numerical simulation show that the reflection coefficients are -12.8 dB and -29.8 dB at 2.45 and 5.8 GHz, respectively. The simulated specific absorption rate (SAR) patterns of the dual-band antenna confirm its uniform thermal radiation distribution. The different profiles of the ablation areas at each frequency make it a promising candidate for flexible and environmentally friendly tumor therapy with various ablated effects.
