摘要

After years of development, holography has become an essential tool of modern optics for many applications. Recently, quantum holography has been realized by utilizing entangled states, enabling the advantages of high robustness and enhanced spatial resolution over the classical one. However, quantum entangled states are not only difficult to prepare experimentally but are also fragile in the presence of environmental noise. This limits the application of quantum holography to a certain extent. Here, we demonstrate both theoretically and experimentally a type of optical holography by using classically correlated polarized beams. Although the classical light sources are used, our scheme achieves the same holographic effect as the polarization entanglement-enabled quantum holography. That is, the scheme not only enhances spatial image resolution compared to coherent holography, but also enables imaging even in the presence of strong dynamic stray light. Compared to quantum holography schemes, our proposal utilizes classical light states, which are easier to prepare and control, and are less influenced by environmental factors than quantum entangled states. This suggests promising practical applications in the future.
