摘要
The one-dimensional carburization problem was solved theoretically by Laplace transforms, basing on which the convergence of finite element carburizing model was studied with the software SYSWORLD. The parameter DH stands for the depth where carbon concentration changed significantly. The analysis results shows that the grid size should be less than DH/3 referring to analytical result for 1-D carburization; tetragonal grids are preferable to triangular ones for 2-D carburization, the grid size should be less than DH/4; and the grid size should be less than DH/5 for 3-D carburization.
