Comprehensive experimental scheme using a driving simulator

Using a driving simulator, an experimental scheme of human factors study is introduced. The driving simulator is served as the most important experimental platform in the study. In order to enable the drivers to adapt to the simulator system, the scenario with Chinese characteristics is developed. Key techniques such as variable selection, database design, and the procedure of scenario building are explained. Feasible technical route and scheme are also proposed. In order to identify the specific factors that affect driving behaviors, a proposed experiment is conducted based on the scheme.
