Boron-Containing Organic Two Dimensional Materials: Synthesis and Application

摘要

Organic two-dimensional materials have garnered widespread attention due to their well-defined structures, structural diver-sity, and rich electronic effects, demonstrating significant application potential across various fields. Atomic-level manipulation of the structures of organic two-dimensional materials has been a primary strategy for enriching and optimizing their properties. The introduction of heteroatoms often significantly affects their electronic structure, thereby endowing these materials with novel and unique properties. Boron atoms, due to their electron-deficient nature, have been extensively studied in luminescent materials, semiconductor materials, and chemical sensing materials. Consequently, boron-containing organic two-dimensional materials are also believed to be promising as a new class of materials with excellent optoelectronic and chemical activities. This article collates and summarizes the preparation and property studies of three types of boron-containing organic two-dimensional materials in recent years.
