摘要

A series of metallarectangles1-5were synthesized by the selective combination of (p-cymene)Ru-corner, bis(β-diketone) arms and bifunctional pyridyl linkers. They exhibited a very rare phenomenon of haloalkane-induced fluorescence enhancement.
