Attitude Control of Flapping-Wing Aircraft Based on Backstepping Control

摘要

The flapping-wing aircraft has broad application prospects in fields such as military reconnaissance, environmental monitoring, and disaster relief. This research is concerned with the design of the attitude control systems for a bird-inspired biomimetic flapping-wing aircraft. After establishing the aerodynamic model of the aircraft, the flapping motion model and attitude motion model are derived. A controller based on the backstepping control is then designed. Results from the simulation reveal that the aircraft can achieve fast response and track command signals in the pitch and roll channels, while maintaining minimal error.
