摘要
In this paper, the pseudo-ductility characterizations of thin-ply carbon fiber angle-ply laminates are investigated theoretically and experimentally, which considers the effects of resin nonlinearity and fiber rotating dislocation. First, a theoretical model with resin shear non-linearity and fiber rotating dislocation is established to predict the pseudo-ductility responses of thin-ply carbon fiber angle-ply composites. Second, the full-field fiber rotation dislocation is measured by means of Digital Image Correlation (DIC) experimental method which can exhibit statistical probability distribution characteristics about fiber rotating dislocation. Finally, the tensile pseudo-ductility responses of thin-ply carbon fiber angle-ply laminates with different fiber areal weights (20/60/120 g/m2) of prepreg and ply angles (15°/30°/45°) are investigated based on the non-linearity of the resin and fiber rotating dislocation. The results will play an important role for understanding the mechanism of pseudo-ductility for thin-ply carbon fiber angle-ply laminates.
