摘要

The increasing integration of renewable energy sources poses significant challenges to grid power quality. To address the technical bottleneck of efficiently integrating supercapacitor (SC) energy storage-caused by its wide operating voltage range-this paper proposes a novel two-stage hybrid topology based on AC-side dynamic voltage compensation. This topology implements an Integrated GridConnected Regulator that enables efficient SC grid integration across the full State of Charge (SOC) range without the need for conventional DC/DC converters or auxiliary batteries. Additionally, a composite modal adaptive control strategy is developed, which seamlessly and automatically switches between system-level power regulation and submodule limit protection modes to ensure safe operation under all conditions. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in dynamic active power support and comprehensive power quality compensation, while also demonstrating the reliability and robustness of the modal switching control under limit conditions.
