摘要
Low energy consumption is crucial to a Battery Pack Management system (BMS) in particular with sensors over hundreds of batteries. To reduce the sensor power-consumption in a battery pack, a Partial Timestamp Synchronization (PTS) scheme combined with Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is proposed in this work. The proposed LEACH-PTS scheme consists of a fixed relay and gets a lower complexity in the case of multi-hopping than that of the original LEACH. To further reduce the power consumption in a battery network, a node power threshold is designed to determine the replacement of relay nodes. Simulation results show that our proposed method significantly reduces sensor network power consumption than state-of-the-art methods.
