A compressible idealized fluid model for penetration of a projectile against a concrete target

摘要

In view of the compressibility of the concrete material, for high striking velocity, a compressible ideal fluid model is presented to predict the deceleration of the projectile during the penetration process. The model is verified by a series of onboard measurements of deceleration of the projectile.
