摘要
Studies on the evaluation for the protective capability of critical cabin's protecting armor of war-ships against warhead fragments were conducted. An evaluation method using the penetrated fragments'distribution density for quantative characterization and four-level classification was proposed. The rationality and applicability of the Weibull distribution model were analysed and a general penetration formula capable of taking into account the shape factor of the natural fragment and the strength of the target was deduced. A calculation model for solving the penetrated fragments'distribution density was also deduced. The model for determining the protecting armor's thickness to achieve a certain class of protection was given. With the "Harpoon" and "Exocet" anti-ship missile warheads as examples, the protective capabilities of the protecting armor designed according to the LR's regulations and the thickness of protecting armor required to achieve different levels of protection were compared and analyzed. The models established can provide technical sup- port for the evaluation of cabin protecting structures.
