组织简介
北京理工大学机械与车辆学院由1940年延安自然科学院的机械工程科发展而来，目前学院下设车辆工程系、能源与动力工程系、制造工程系、机电科学基础部、工程训练中心、机电基础实验教学中心、学院办公室七个系级单位。现有教师302人，其中，教授92人，副教授133人，中国科学院院士2人、中国工程院院士2人（含兼职博导2人），国家高层次领军人才39人次，国家级高层次青年人才40人次，国家级教学名师1人、全国模范教师1人，北京市教学名师8人。
