Abstract

An approach was proposed to ensure the concurrent executing correctness of workflows for the workflow features of complicated applications. The task conflict, conflict class, shared locking and exclusive locking of the same task name were defined. A workflow concurrency control mechanism was proposed based on these concepts. Considering workflow concurrent executing features, such as the concurrent execution of different instances of intra-workflow as well as inter-workflow, the mechanism ensures the concurrent executing correctness of instances of intra-workflow and inter-workflow.
