Abstract

A kind of symmetries, i.e. a weakly Noether symmetry for a Lagrange system is presented. The criterion of the weakly Noether symmetry of the system is given and a Noether conserved quantity can be deduced using the symmetry. The weakly Noether symmetry finds more applications than the Noether symmetry.
