Abstract

With the development of the ultra-wideband (UWB) technology there are many applications are carrying on. In this paper distance gate detector-an application about UWB is presented. UWB signals characteristic was simply introduced again in this paper. Because the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) speed limits the signal digitization, a better solution to limited ADC speed was brief introduced. On the detector, the receiver was mainly introduced, one simply target distance algorithm was given, through the simply algorithm in the signal processing cell the target can be found quickly accurately.
