Abstract

(Matrix presented) The hydroxyl group was directly converted into the trichloroacetylamino group by reacting β-hydroxy α-diazo carbonyl compounds with Cl3CCN and NaH. Rh(II)-catalyzed reactions of the β-amino α-diazo carbonyl compounds were discussed.
