Abstract

In order to test the designed radar system, it is first necessary to conduct radar echo simulation work as a basis for validating the newly developed system and signal processing algorithms. Therefore, a time-domain simulation program will be developed to simulate a real meteorological scenario using radar data, and echo simulation based on the autocorrelation function of rainfall echoes. Due to the lack of airship-borne radar measured data, but in order to verify the effectiveness of the radar system and signal processing technology designed on the airship-borne radar, the ground radar measured data is used as the input data of the simulation to simulate the echo simulation of the airship-borne radar detecting the ground radar data, so as to carry out other related tasks such as resolving range ambiguity and data quality control.
