Theory and applications of segment wavelet filtering

Abstract

In view of the problem that penetration acceleration signal is subjected to interference, a segment filtering technology based on wavelet filtering, which was called segment wavelet filtering, was developed. It is the key issue for segment wavelet filtering to choose the appropriate wavelet basis and the length of filtering time. Segment wavelet filtering was applied to processing the acceleration signal. The simulation results show that segment wavelet filtering can not only effectively remove noise with high frequency, but also meet the requirements of real-time filtering. The results of simulation have good agreement with the results of test, which verifies the correctness of the method.
