Abstract

The function and structure of the launcher on Android platform are analysed and its working mechanism is explored in this paper. We developed a customised launcher in Eclipse on the base of analysis. The basic functions and specific requirements, such as adding application shortcut and AppWidget, arranging the layout of desktop, are realised in this launcher. The final effects are given at the end of the paper.
