Abstract

How to control the process of continuously variable transmission is an important issue in the electric transmission system of a tracked vehicle. In the paper, the constant power of brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is controlled by the feedback (observation) of power, and it is proved feasible by test. Based on the above, range of the motor speed is expanded by winding change namely configuration change, and rotational speed ranges corresponding to winding forms are settled by our study. Finally, some of total performance simulation results are showed and analyzed, which lay a foundation for the future.
