Abstract

In this paper, a coupling model of the airborne antenna is established according to the arrangement of the airborne antenna and optimized by employing the genetic algorithm. The coupling between two antennas is calculated based on method of moment. Then, the genetic algorithm is used to minimize the coupling and thus the optimal layout of the antennas is obtained. Good performance of the UAV's electromagnetic compatibility is finally achieved by the investigated coupling model.
