Abstract
To improve the electromagnetic torque of BLDCM, a method is put forward to solve the ripple of the electromagnetic torque induced by the diode and inductance in the process of phase commutation in brushless DC machine. The basic idea is to accelerate the process of phase commutation using the rate of change of current, then the ripple of electromagnetic torque is improved. The Numerical calculation and experiment are finished. The feasibility is proved.
