Abstract

In networked teaching, students cannot do experiment with a new control theory. A networked experiment practice platform based on Matlab is realized in this paper. Through log in the website of net-lab, students can not only browse and download teaching PPT, teaching scheme and assignment, but also provide teachers and students with Matlab on-line mapping function for drawing the root locus, Bode diagram, Nyquist diagram ect. Meanwhile, the net-platform of teaching and experiment is equipped with plants such as ball beam system, robot arm, ect. The students can operate the plants on line to practice control methods of the pole placement, PID control and so on. Even more, Students can apply their new control theory on plants in remote laboratory. The networked experiment practice platform has been used in the course of automatic control theory for one year, and achieved a good teaching effect.
