Abstract

The amplitude of ultrasonic will occur some attenuation when it traveled in liquids. And the ultrasonic attenuation with different frequency in the liquid is not same. In this paper, two experiments are designed to research how the amplitude of the ultrasonic will change with different frequencies of ultrasonic traveling in the water. And we find that the ultrasonic attenuation with different frequency in the water is not same, and the higher the frequency, the higher the multiple of attenuation. This conclusion has great significance in the field of high-frequency ultrasound.
